Faxing terminates with +FHS:52

Hi!

Everytime I send a fax the faxing terminates after the first page
was transmitted, because of:

Afterwards the fax-machine on the other side (new philips) is totally
shut down and cannot receive faxes without an intermediate reset!!!

I use a USR Message 56k, mgetty-1.1.19Nov24, with the patch for USR
from Gert (somewhere FCC...,5).

Any help? It is very bad for me to ruin fax-machines all the time ;-)
