Very bad style, and won't work anyway, if you have a locking problem -
vgetty will restart immediately after being killed, so if the lock was
wrong before, it will be wrong afterwards.

There was one minor bug (killing mgetty in exactly the right moment while
another program had the lock could lead to accidently deleting the foreign
lock), but that one has been fixed for 1.1.20.  [If you don't send signals
to mgetty/vgetty, that bug will never hit, so it isn't an issue here].
