wrong number of rings during answer

Hi,

please do not remove the cc: mgetty@muc.de in your replies.

Then, please send a *useful* log file.  The one you have sent doesn't show
enough information to see what's happening - it shows one RING, but there
could have been more before it.

(Oh, btw: please read the manual, "man mgetty", for information how you
are supposed to order the arguments on the command line.  Hint: the tty
name comes LAST, not first).
