Actually, I'm glad to be helpful here - it has been very quiet on my side
for a while (lots of promised features, no code :-( ), I have been just
too busy doing "internet repair work" these days :-)
Anyway, a good book on this subject is O'Reilly's "DNS and BIND", but it
doesn't cover all the Internic procedures to get something done - that's
hand-on knowledge that I got from peeking over the shoulder of our
company's hostmistress, who has to deal with all the domain registration
troubles. *I* usually only do IP routing things (and thanks god for that
- domain stuff, especially if people start doing legal trouble over domain
issues, is really not for me...).
