vgetty / revieve fax

I posted a couple of weeks ago, stating that vgetty would stall at
fax_wait_for_ok when recieving a fax,  and I have implemented all the
advice given to me at that time (thanks Gert). With no luck.

Since then, I have done some more playing around with it and found that
vgetty WILL recieve a fax properly if my ring type is set to fax:data.

So it seems that the problem lays in the transition from voice mode to
fax mode.

If anyone has any thoughts or ideas (or better yet, a solution!)  please
let me know.
