Vgetty doesn't speak to the callers.

Hi,
I'm using Linux Mandrake 6.0 with upgrades, with KDE and with a USR spors=
ter
flax modem (Class 2.0 with voice capabilities). It's the   frontend for
mgetty+sendfax.
 I have a problem. It may be because a bad configuration of vgetty.
The computer doesn't read the greeting message in the phone line of the
callers. So they don't speak.=20
I can hear the noise, faxes are received well.
Is it somehone who know the solution to this problem ?
