Hi!

I have just subscribed to the mailing list and attempted to read all the =
documentation you mentioned prior to writing this mail but unfortunately =
I was unable to connect to www.elilabs.com . (The following error was =
encountered: Unable to determine IP address from host name for =
www.elilabs.com The dnsserver returned: DNS Domain 'www.elilabs.com' is =
invalid: Host not found (authoritative)).=20
This means I could not search the mailing list archive and therefore do =
not know if this question has been presented before. My apologies if it =
has!!!

1. Please find logfile attached (last two lines between ####, debug =
level 6)
2. Using SuSE Linux 2.0.36
3. Mgetty version: Source code (filename) states 1.0.0 but logfile =
states experimental test release 1.1.18??
4. Modem: Billion ISDN TA128 External (including 2 analogue ports)
5. No Operating specials

>From the error messages I have a suspicion the modem is not compatible. =
Is this possible? All the other configuration files where copied from a =
working system so all the settings should be correct.
I am only trying to configure a dial-in server at the moment, Fax will =
come later. When dialing in the modem answers the call and then =
disconnects the user.

I realise your time is at a premium and I greatly appreciate any help =
you can offer me.

Best regards, Stefan.
