I knew you would :-) I like that.
Some words about modem crashes. I'm not very sure, that they are gone with
vgetty, but I don't have major problems with the modem. But I'm not sure wether
my problems come from an old phoneline installation in the house I live in.

Mainly I use the modem with slip and if I get a hangup (this happens from time
to time) I restart the connection and can work on, so I can live with that.
