Connecting with a Win98 machine

Hi,

I am using RedHat 6.0 and dialing in with a Win98 computer. I can
connect to the server and CHAP authenticates. I can telnet into the
server but apart from that nothing else. I would like to be able to
open network neighbourhood from the Win98 machine, access some files and
see the other Win/Linux machines on the network. Below are the files I
am using and I would really appreciate it if you guys could have a look
and see what you think and how I might improve them. I have read the
how-to files and been watching the several e-mail looking for a way to
solve the problem. One thing I am a little confused about is the this
part of the /etc/ppp/dialin file shown below but I guess it works or I
would not even be able to connect to the Linux machine. ??

# caller is given following IP
192.168.0.1:192.168.0.20

I am connecting using a labtop running Win98 and I leave the part about
IP assignment to the server. I figure that the server will assign an IP
address of 192.168.0.20 to the connection with the server having an IP
of 192.168.0.1

I use the following files to connect,

/etc/inittab
* Run mgetty
s2:2345:respawn:/sbin/mgetty ttyS1 -n 7 -D /dev/ttyS1

/etc/mgetty+sendfax/login.config
#
/AutoPPP/ - a_ppp /usr/sbin/pppd file /etc/ppp/dialin

/etc/ppp/dialin
#wait for caller to begin ppp handshake
silent
# caller must authenticate
auth
# authenticate with chap
+chap
# no ipx-protocol
#-ipx-protocol
# give first and second nameserver to caller
#dns-addr 192.168.0.2
#dns-addr 192.168.0.2
#ms-dns 192.168.0.2
#ms-wins 192.168.0.2
# caller is given following IP
192.168.0.1:192.168.0.20
# This linux machine should not do his default IP-Traffic
# over dialin-connection
-defaultroute
# Ip from caller should be known in local ethernet
proxyarp

/etc/ppp/chap-secrets
#Secrets for authentication using CHAP
# client server secret IP addresses
   name * password *

Thanks,

Sean..
