Hi,
I've done what you've asked me to: Try to find if mgetty or who is
looking for 'utmp' in a wrong place, but it's not doing this, they are
looking for them in /var/run/utmp and it's there.
When I type 'w', a list of on-line users in shown. But the users
authenticated with autoppp is shown as a_ppp, with the others, this does
not happen and their names appears with this command and in the log
files. I would like to show the names of users instead of 'a_ppp'.
The login.config file is like this:
/AutoPPP/ - a_ppp /usr/sbin/pppd file /etc/ppp/pap-options
The pap-options file:
115200
asyncmap 0
netmask 255.255.255.224
proxyarp
lock
crtscts
modem
auth
login
ms-dns 200.202.252.163
pap-max-authreq 3
pap-restart 3
pap-timeout 20
