mgetty doesn't display logging

Thanks for the tip but it still the same problem, this is what I got
on my log file from /var/log/messages


Aug  4 10:10:20 nitefever mgetty[331]: failed timeout dev=ttyS0,
pid=331, caller='none', conn='', name=''

on the mgetty.log.ttyS0 log
