Hi,

This was the problem I had when I started using mgetty. As someone who
has muddled through setting up linux with no prior Unix knowledge, I
had never come across a .info or a .texi file, let alone knowing how
to use them. Hence trying to read the instructions was almost
impossible.

There is also the problem of which distribution to use. Now that the
'official release' is quite different to the latest beta, which
version do the web pages document? Isn't the latest version stable
enough to announce a 'release' version (mgetty seems to be to me, but
I don't use vgetty - yet!)
