The problem I have with them is that I want the g3 fax file to be
uuencoded into the body of the email, or MIME encapsulated. The
TPC.INT approach takes either text files or Postscript files.

I need to be able to run a document thru a conventional fax machine
and receive it on a local computer, then wrap the *.g3 files up in a
*.g3.tar file which is then uuencoded and placed into the body of the
email. This email is then sent to a server at the other end, where it
is transmitted to a fax machine, or printed locally.

It is hard to fax original source documents, such as receipts,
invoices, bills of lading, etc. with the TPC.INT approach.

I am going to have to develop the scripts to do this anyway. Does
anybody here have any suggestions for how this should e done?

I do not need the anonymous cooperative network that TPC.INT
implements. The sender and receiver know each other. They just need
to implement an email fax-to-fax connection. The reason it must be
email is because some systems may not be online all the time, and uucp
is still an important method in some parts of the world.
