Maybe not *sendfax*, but that's a valid thought for a "front-frontend" -
either call faxspool, or convert to postscript/MIME and send to tcp.int.

(I very much oppose doing "policy" in sendfax - sendfax is a unix tool: 
"do one thing, and do it well", and that means "send fax pages to a modem
and report back how it worked").
