PPP

Hello,

I know this is offtopic in this list, but here are the persons that
can help me.

My PPP connection (incoming) works, and I get the following command:

Jul 22 18:07:22 linus pppd[9928]: local  IP address 192.168.1.1
Jul 22 18:07:22 linus pppd[9928]: remote IP address 192.168.1.3

Fact is: local IP (192.168.1.1) is the dialed in computer, remote IP
(192.168.1.3) is the computer that dials in.

My question is: I want to gate from my local network to the internet,
are these to IP adresses important for such a connection (outgoing) ?
