Problems on sending to a Toshiba fax machine

Well, as you might remember, I´m one of the people for whom the Sportster (an
ancient Sporster 28.800 Fax 
Modem in white and green ...) works fine.

I am recieving and sending faxes to a Toshiba 242 AF very often, without
any problem ... so I suppose it´s not a specific problem with a Toshiba fax
machine which occurs here.

As I wrote, my modem is not  "up to date", so I´m thinking about a replacement.
There is a OEM-Version of an Elsa-Modem available at Vobis, called "Bahnboostar
56k future". Does anybody know if it works reliable together with mgetty ?!?
