New "Welcome Message"

In your todo list for mgetty users, you did not say: read the info
pages (mgetty.info, mgetty.texi).  

I very often find the answers for questions posted on the list in the
info pages.  For example, linux users still try to use cua*.  

This tells me that people do not read the info pages, which are very
well written.  I think many people are not even aware they exist.
