You're not "everyone else".  Quite a number of mgetty users prefer whining
"it doesn't work for me! Help!" to reading the docs, and thinking about
it.

You're more than welcome to write such a FAQ file.  Free Software works,
because everybody contributes...

The archives and documentation hold much material that just have to be
converted to the form you're thinking of.  If you have additional
questions, you're welcome to ask.

*I* am not going to write that FAQ -- I have written my share of
documentation (mgetty.texi), and will maintain that, when time permits,
but will have to use my remaining time to make a living, meet friends, and
add new mgetty code :-)

There is a FAQ for such questions already (maintained by Klaus
Lichtenwalder -- thank you!), and I think he'll gladly accept any
contributions...
