I disagree. Maybe I am not 'everyone else', but i prefer massive
documentation over personalized help in almost all cases. Tho a log may be
able to pinpoint a blazing problem, surely there are numerous instances
when someone system is just slightly different and they are going to have
to buckle down and fix it themselves. I would like to see a FAQ file
dedicated to nothing but typical known log entries that pinpoint errors.
"if your log has this <stuff here>, then check <answer here>. And perhaps
another file dedicated to nothing but "my autoppp doesnt work" and clearly
tell people when its an mgetty problem and when its a ppp problem, and
quit answering ppp problem at all except to say "read the autoppp FAQ".
