vgetty+Solaris

Hello.

My problem is - vgetty several seconds later system starts dies (became
a zombie). Only by the mean of "truss" I'v got some information.
It reports me after some normal negotiations with modem:
"Received signal #14, SIGALARM, in read() [caught]"
And after this any responce from modem stops. vgetty tries to send there
"ATE0" and "ATI" but read nothing, and several seconds later dies.
Right after this initd tries to restart it but unsuccessful (error
opening device ttya)
My string from inittab is
ya:345:respawn:/usr/local/sbin/vgetty ttya
Modem USR Courier v32 with ASL. Sparc Ultra 1 with Solaris 2.6
