ppp and mgetty

Hi,

I have dialin users.   Linux(2.0.32) [ dialin -> mgetty(16) ->
ppp(2.3.5) ]
I was trying to upgrade my ppp from 2.3.3-2 to 2.3.5-1  the user gets
authenticated in ppp/pam (shadow) but right after it gets
authenticated my modems hangup.  Mgetty is the only one showing any
sort of messages.  

Can some one deciefer this for me?
