But doesn't understand *any* of the 2.0 commands.
Most likely, the modem can only do class 2, but its command parser is too
braindead to notice the error.
Set "modem-type cls2" in mgetty.config to fix this.

That's the next problem with dumb modems: inabilitiy to properly
distinguish fax and data calls. See my rant in the docs about those...
