Sounds like a G3 page creation problem.  One would need to know what kind
of input files are used, whether you use faxspool or a direct call to
ghostscript, etc.  -- see the manual for more data on this.

Very interesting.  Usually, tiffg3 will definitely create some problems
(but the header data may be received as "garbage" and thus ignored, it
might even work).

No.  The G3 standard is very clear.
