Crippled received faxes

Sounds like a page conversion problem on the WinFAX side.  

If that does NOT happen if the WinFAX sender sends the fax to another
receiver, it might be a mgetty bug (or a modem bug), but that's very
unlikely.  If the page arrives completely correct, just some borders
are "snipped off", it's normally a problem in the page creation process.
