Yes but the problem with this solution is that your utmp file only shows an
entry for a_ppp so how do you know who the user is?? I have several hundred
user on my system and this workaround isn't going to work. The only reason
I'm so curious about this is becasue it used to work fine with an `@` in
the login.config AutoPPP line. I even had wtmp (last) loggin the connection
speed as well.
What's the latest pppd version atm?
