Woah, what's with the attitude?? I must point out now how much I hate it
when people get the wrong end of the stick so quickly. I'm not criticising
your reply. I don't think you are wrong, I just thought I'd tell you what
happened on *my* system, which was not as you described.
The double entries are actually written to wtmp not utmp.

This sort of thing impresses no-one.
I should also point out that I value other people's comments as much as I
do yours and if I want them to know what's been dicussed I have to post to
the mailing list what you have said. If you do not want this then do not
reply to my e-mail. As I'm sure you are aware the more people can help with
mgetty problems, the less Gert has to do *himself* in *his* own time for
*free* for *everyone else*.
Anyway - that said, I appreciate you input and thank you. Please don't take
things I say the wrong way. I don't mean them that way.
Cheers
Alex!
P.S. if I *am* being rude I'll use html container tags!! :o)
