Does Modem support CID ?

Unfortunately some rockwell clones that do not support CID respond saying
they do when asked with the appropriate AT #CID=?.  The Zoom 2949 is one
such modem (a pity, since it's a v.90 voice modem that does class 2 fax).
No mention of CID on the box, and their email support eventually replied
that it was not available.
