I should add that the current mgetty/vgetty code is NOT able to handle
this case. Even if you set the number of RINGs to 0 (you can easily
change the source to be allowed to do so...), it won't work, as mgetty
will wait for "some action" on the serial port before even counting RINGs.
So it's definitely "at least one".
