Both work here, with the Euro-ISDN (DSS1) version of The ZyXEL 2864I and
firmware release 2.11 (Multi-MSN).

This is with mgetty-1.1.20 + global patch + pnp fix + called ID.

ZyXEL have worked quited well recently. Maybe something broke in
the firmware. Can you downgrade just to try ?
