PPP/Mgetty hang-up problem HELP Please????

Actually, there *is no mgetty* while an incoming call is active.  Mgetty
will be restarted by init as soon as PPP exits.

Make sure the modem is set to AT&C1 (signal carrier to the host) and that
PPP will exit after a timeout (something with lcp-echo-...).
