I think this might be possible with the ELSA MicroLink office - it's
a kind of wonder machine (it can also be used as a hands-free telephone,
using its built-in microphone and speaker).

I haven't yet found out how to do all this, but when I do, I'll report
back.

If standard US telephone cabling (everything is connected in parallel)
every voice modem should be able to do that.  If you use the "phone" port
on the modem, it won't work.
