Problem with simple mail2fax routine

Save the mail into something named <name>.txt and it will automagically be
recognized as ASCII.

Sounds pretty ugly, as if filtered through something that tries to
"prettyprint" the headers (<letter><bs><letter> is classic style for
"bold").   Just save the mail as-is, and this should not happen.

Look for a program called "col", it will do exactly that.
