Make this "lock" instead of "log", and then you describe a known problem.
I hope they have fixed it by now.

Hard to say, one would have to see the home log file.

I'm not so sure what kind of data this is supposed to give. After all, you
already know that you have been dialing out, and this is what you'll find
in the log file from the calling side...
