I am looking for a modem to use primarily for voice, to act as a voice
mail system that will cover 3 phone lines. I already have a Zyxel
Omni 288S on the line that receives fax and data as well as voice.
What I would like is a good modem for voice that will also originate
fax and data calls, but never answer those types of calls. Because of
the data requirement, I would greatly prefer to operate at 28.8
instead of 14.4, so the older Zyxel's loose points because of slow
data operation. Any suggestions? In reality, I could use one of the
old Zyxels, but I need one line I can originate fast data calls on
without tying up the inbound line.
