-------- Gert, I have been using a Hayes Office Communications Mgr modem with both mgetty and vgetty without any problems. It is also Rockwell based but seems to work fine for my casual use pattern. I also wanted to say that not everyone can afford a Zyxel at $300.00 plus, since these modems work generally acceptable under Windows 95 and NT, there must be sth that can be done to make these work with UNIX.
