Sounds like it is a cheap modem, so it may not work ... dumb Rockjunk...

I can't remember that *this* line is in the program code anywhere, so I
can't guess how it will come into the log file. Please show the relevant
lines, and provide more data about the exact type (vendor, brand, max.
speed, etc.) of modem.
