Sorry, I'm also clueless. The ZyXEL is ok? The ROM checksum of the firmware
is correct? The strange thing is, that it does not finish the OK sequence.
It never sends a newline character. That's why the OK is not recognized. If
it is a baud rate switch, you could try to figure out, which baud rate it
is. Just try different baud rates. If you hit the correct one, the problem
will disappear. Maybe that gives us some hints. As far as I know, there is
no AT register on the 1496 to enable a baud switch, when entering voice
mode. Never seen this before on ZyXELs. You can also try to set the
command_delay to different values. Does that change anything?
