CID on USR Sportsters?

I had ( if f..ing NYNEX could straight their DMS100 up I would say I
have it :-( )
in mgetty.config as a part of init-chat and it worked 100%
with setenv on .99

Now out of the blue :-)
Does anyone know if Caller ID (or D channel data in general)
goes through on pots port of Courier I-modem ?
