Strange speed problem with USR 3361 voice

After that finnaly my USR voice (3361) was working well with voice data and fax
sudenly it start 2 give data connections only in 2400 bps, note that the modem
work cause I get dial out in normal rate (28800 ++).

all log files give everything normal except that the speed is set always 2 2400
I'm running mgetty1.1.4 on linux 2.0.
