Approved.
That is, I'd prefer to see it named "-stretch" (to be compatible to
pbmplus' option naming), but besides, I like the way you did it.
BTW: Check' number 85 on the TODO list - less work for me...

(Oh, just one thing I found: you forgot to multiply the number of rows
that's written to the PBM file header by two...)
