Hi,

I've just put a new test release, mgetty019-mar3.tar.gz to
ftp.informatik.tu-muenchen.de:/tmp

Major changes include:

* changing of "faxspool" to accept lots of new options (needed for the
  lp->fax backends and faxmail gateways)
  
* detail changes in faxq and faxrunq

* better manpages

* some bug fixes in fax reception,

* some more flexibility in sendfax for "stupid" modems, 

* NEW: pbmtog3 program - faster and better standard-conforming that
  pbmplus' variant

* handling of device nodes in subdirectories (/dev/term/a1)

* better "make install"

* support for siginterrupt() on BSD systems

* improved format detection in faxspool

* somewhat improved fido / **EMSI handling

* more well-behaved logging (do not abort if logfile cannot be opened)

* lots of changes in the vgetty part:

- distinctive RING
- more flexible shell scripts (voice mailbox)
- more flexible DTMF detection by zplay

... please test it, if you have time.
