True. I have an internal modem and it was impossible to understand anything.
Some time ago I changed the metal-speaker against a paper-one. Now I don't
have any problems to understand, what people told me...
By the way: Why does it take 5 seconds to hear anything, when the modem
answers the phone? It's totally quite. After that 5 seconds it's awfully
quite. It's impossible to use it as a monitor, to listen to incoming calls
and then answer the phone, if you like.

Bye,
Marc
