With code changes and recompilation, you can do anything :) -- but with
"legal" ways, there is no clean way yet.

Just try what happens. Then tell us about it, so maybe it's worthwile to
add support for it...

That's the problem -- you need a special tone. If a normal modem calls
(an older one), that is not sending anything, the modem doesn't know
whether it's voice or data. So if you send a voice welcome message, you
make modem connections fail -- and if you send modem tones, you annoy
human callers...

Damn, why don't you just show us the log file (-x9)? Don't let me pull
every single bit of data from your nose!

Most likely, there is something wrong with the caller ID code (some new,
yet-unimplemented format, some bug in the code that I can't test because I
neither have a Supra modem nor Caller ID, ...), or whatever. But I can't
say if I don't see the log file!
