Can someone explain this ?

Hi,

first a question: How do I get of the mailing list ? A Mail to
mgetty-request@muc.de did not do it (maybe because the sender of
subscribe-mail and unsubscribe-mail have to agree ?).

The following is an excerpt from a vgetty session. From time to time
vgetty seems not to be able to initialize my modem (which works
flawlessly otherwise). It continues to try though and prevents dialout
on this line as well. Here is a part of the logfile (do I need to
increase the loglevel ?):
