It is possible, that read returns 0, if the vgetty settings are still
in effect. Vgetty uses a non blocking setting. I thougt, that I reset
those settings when switching over to mgetty, but it seems, I mess
this up a bit. The thing, that really worries me is, that I see this
error message also with a read return value <0...

Maybe someone understands, what's going on here and at least explain
the exact situation, that triggers this combination of return value
for read and errno.
