Shouldn't do that. You can try to increase the toggle_dtr_time or
some flag like that. Maybe the modem just wants DTR low for a longer
time to avoid hanging up on spikes on the DTR line. Some modems need
DTR low times as long as 3 seconds. Dunno if this helps. If vgetty
finishes the handling of the complete call without problems, it might
be a good idea to switch back to data mode, in case the modem really
reacts different on DTR toggles in voice mode.
