K56 Flex + Class 2 fax

Hi,

Some of you have been following the `Practical Peripherals'
thread I started this weekend... consider this Part 2...

Unfortunately, our office modem pool (which doubles as my
internet access) is using the Flex 56K protocol. I tried to
talk 'em into X2 so that I could use my USR but no luck :-(

Now... I'm looking for a modem that supports Flex and also
has a Class 2 fax. I've looked at two local shops and found
only two that claim to do this. One is the Practical Peripherals
discussed in the other thread, the other is from MaxTech.

Although both *claim* to be Class 2, AT+FCLASS=? executed on
both reports only Class 1 support.

My warning to the list: It looks like K56 Flex + Class 2 is
just not available (at least with Rockwell chipsets).

My question to the list: Can anybody prove me wrong? Please!
