DTMF and ELSA microlink

Hi !

Does anybody made some experience with an Elsa Microlink Modem and
vgettys dtmf tone detection ? When I press *12345# on the calling phone
vgetty / my modem doesn´t get it !
I wrote a script that should handle these dtmf data:

dtmf.sh:
 ...
 ...
 echo $1 >> /var/log/dtmf.log
 exit(0)

Where is my mistake ? Is it perhaps a problem of my Elsa Modem ?
