Hi Richard,
I haven't posted to this list before, but here goes, have a look at a page
i have been working on
	http://www.trump.net.au/~rjc/hylafax/usr.html
As you can guess by the title its mainly to do with hylafax where recent
USR Sportster modems have caused alot of problems...not so much in the fact
they are like the worst modems on the market but more because so many of
them are being sold and the recent revisions need special setup to work.

>From experience wih hylafax if your modem has a 1996 firmware revision you
may have serious problems with class 2.0 fax.
