US Robotics 28.8 Fax modem with mgeety

Hi,
 after running faxspool transfer a text file to a g3 format and running
faxrunq command, I get the following:

/usr/local/sbin/sendfax -v 25720114 f1.g3
Trying fax device '/dev/ttyS1'... OK.
Dialing 25720114... OK.
sending 'f1.g3'...
/usr/local/sbin/sendfax: FAILED to transmit 'f1.g3'.
Transmission error: +FHNG:54 (No response to EOP repeated 3 times)
command exited with status 12

so cannot faxout, could anyone help me?
